Trolley Troubles: An Adventure with Hayward

Trolley Troubles is a Childrens’ book, that follows Hayward, an elementary age student, on an adventure through New Orleans. All while traveling unaccompanied by an adult and without prior permission. It's not until Hayward completes his adventure that he realizes that he is lost and is probably in trouble. Hayward begins to cry and is then approached by an adult. A plan of action takes place, which includes notifying the police, and his school, where he decided to leave from the carpool lane. Hayward is eventually reunited with his Parents and learned a very important lesson about not asking for permission.
